It's a few days before the big Thames WaterBlitz and I'm really excited to see the results for my catchment! I have wanted to survey my local rivers for a long time as, I know further water quality improvements could be made, either from less public litter pollution or nutrient pollution from land run off or storm drain overflows.
It's fantastic such citizen science projects are going on for the Thames catchment which is incredibly intensive. However looking at the data interactive map from the previous Spring Thames Blitz 19, I can see there has been no data collected for the area or borough I will be surveying.
I look forward to trying out the app!
